Parent Involvement

Parents are encouraged to participate in the educational experience of their child. Mondays and Fridays are days students are encouraged work on their curriculum with their parents at home. Parents are invited to share their talents and trades through volunteering to teach special classes or courses of study to the students during afternoon Special Classes time.

Who are the teachers

Teachers at the Little Schoolhouse share the same educational philosophies and passion for education. Head teachers at The Littleschoohouse are highly trained, experienced and certified. Special teachers have been selected for their areas of expertise and experience.

All educators honor and understand the importance of childhood and play.

Curriculum

Students use a homeschool curriculum called The Good and the Beautiful for Math and Language Arts. Parents will purchase the level they would like their child to work on. Teachers support the parents' desires and teach to the level they have decided will best fit the needs of their child.

In the classroom students will have access to a variety of learning materials to support their progress in all areas of the curriculum. Additionally, students may visit the craft area where they can knit, sew, crochet, weave, paint, draw and create with many other arts and craft mediums.

Field Trips

Field Trips are arranged by parent volunteers and held on Mondays and Fridays. As a group we invite other Homeschooling Families to join us to broaden our community of friends.

Community Beliefs

As a caring community we foster the love of others around us by volunteering and helping where needed to better the world around us. We teach love, inclusivity, and kindness for all.
